"NWO" and "Jesus Built My Hotrod" by Ministry are both great songs. They are saying the next tour will be the last one so I'd like to see them one last time. I saw them at Lollapalooza one year and it was probably one of the best live shows I've ever saw before........

Hey,what's Hank III sound like? Does he sound like Grandpa or Dad or neither?

Posted by MotleyRulz (Member # 3598) on :

We saw Hank III at a 200 seat venue like a year ago. What I liked about the show was that he did it in 2 parts: the first part was his band "The D a m n Band" which played mostly country (ugh had to sit through that to see the rock/metal show) and the second part he did was the rock/metal show under the name A s s jack. He doesn't really sound like his folks but we got to meet him and he bears a haunting resemblance to his grandfather. He was also the bass guitarist for Superjoint Ritual which was a band fronted by Phil Anselmo of Pantera.......

Here's a song that may seem out of the blue: "Lujon" by Henry Mancini! It also sometimes called "Slow Hot Wind".

It's been used in several soundtracks, most notably in "The Big Lebowski" and "Sexy Beast".

Nice, lush, tropical kind of song.

Their album Dusk and Her Embrace is by far my favorite. Cradle is a good British metal band but I prefer Scandinavian Vampire metal when it really comes down to makin' out. Oh and if I'm feeling like I want something more melodic, then pass me the Dimmu Borgir.

I remember Ambrosia. Don't know much about them though... I do rememeber their big hit - You're the biggest part of me. Let me know how the rest of the CD is.

Was on the "Trick or Treat" movie soundtrack. This is my favorite song from them, but for some reason, this track was never in the movie.

Testament - Electric Crown (live)

After not having listened to Testament since Practice What you Preach, I have to say that I'm really getting into them again.

Anyone who hasn't got the Live in London DVD and is a fan of this kind of metal should get it immediately! (and then Rip it to MP3 format as its great to listen to in the car too!)

Noms [Cool]
