I've liked this guy since "Take Me Home Tonight", but really got into him when VH1 used to play his videos in the early '90s (that very song had a black & white one in an empty concert stage, with Eddie singing with Ronnie Spector hanging around outside).

"Think I'm in Love" had that vampire video (I forget details since it's been so long), but just a few other songs I like by him include "Walk on Water", "I'll Get By", "Take a Little Bit" and "I Wanna Go Back".

Overall, I'd describe him as classic rock-styled '80s pop. If you like Huey Lewis, John Mellencamp or Sammy Hagar, you'll dig some of his stuff.

I saw him in concert 1 year ago next month! We love him!

I love the songs you mentioned, "I'll Get by" is one of my favorites. And, Trinidad is pretty good.

He kept saying at the concert...I got 2 tickets to Paradise, but I'm taking everybody!!

I have "Think I'm in Love" on DVD.

He sings the motto I live by ..."I wanna go back".

Right on - he seems like a cool guy who would say something like that. [Smile]

BTW just wondering, is your copy of the "Think I'm in Love" video something you taped from MTV/VH1 back in the day, or on a compilation? I haven't seen it since I was probably 10 (and even that was on a Halloween video show VH1 was doing), so I'm sure I've forgotten some of it now, LOL.

I think he was one of the best video artists (I'm surprised he never got more recognition for that) - personally I always liked the concept videos over stage performances, etc.

I bought a DVD of all 80's videos off Ebay, and it was on there. I am not sure though where it came from.

It is about him dressed up like a vampire, I think the effects are cool, and the sets they used for videos, were really cool, they don't do videos like that, not ones that are mini movies.

Oh yeah, I bid on one of those a few times (and always get outdone, LOL!) - like, a six or eight disc "Best of the '80s" or something.

Yeah, I think that mini movie/wonderfully cheesy style was popular in the earliest videos. Heck, even by the late '80s, I think it was dwindling a teeny bit (i.e. I love Bon Jovi, but their videos were kinda run of the mill performance style). 1979-86 are the best music video years IMO.

The one I got had 20 videos on it, and was like $10, so that was a cool deal. It had lots of good songs on it.

Def Leppard was on it, Bryan Adams, REO Speedwagon, Berlin, Ozzy Osbourne, Bon Jovi, there were so many cool videos of the 80's.

Thats not my favorite song by him though. I like I THINK I'M IN LOVE and TAKE ME HOME TONIGHT.

Ok I LOOOVVVEEE Eddie Money!!!! He was the first concert I ever went to other than "Sharon, Lois, and Bram the Elephant Show"! Since then I have seen him 5 times in concert. Yes count em 5 times!=) Of course I have all of his hits as well. I got to sing along with a cover band to his song at a bar to "I wanna go back". It too is my favorite song.

The only negative thing I would say about him is he is not as young as he used to be and well he thinks he still is like 25. So the last concert of his I saw after each song he would take off an article of clothing... Well lets just say as it got close to the end of the show we really hoped for no more songs!!! lol
