I was looking in a store that sells these shadowboxes of movies, tv shows and music and they had several from the '80s. There werer movies like Top Gun and Raiders of the Lost Ark and in music I saw Michael Jackson, Rod Stewart, ZZ Top and Hall & Oates. These were cool. On the right side is an old 45 record from the artist and on the left is a photo of the artist or band and underneath it is some facts about the band. Each section is matted and it's in a glass frame. They look really nice. The Hall & Oates one was cool. The record was the single of "Rich Girl" and the facts said that they are the all time #1 hits holder for a rock duo.
I think I might get a couple of these of my favorite bands to hang around my office. Does anyone else own something like this?

My husband bought me these huge things, I don't know how to describe them. They were given to an artist or rep by MCA, and they each have a list of all of the platinum records for that year on it. It has a big platinum record in the middle. The ones I have, they are put away in a closet for right now until I get my game room fixed up. One of them has the 48 Hours soundtrack, and I think a 38 Special album. There are other numerous albums on them too. I don't know how to describe this thing, except it is like a big framed thing to hang on the wall. I don't know what they are worth, but I don't think just anybody would have had it. Maybe if I ever get them back out of my closet, I'll see about posting a pic.

I don't have anything like that...but they sound way cool...are they expensive?? What do the movie and tv show ones look like?? Name some tv shows you saw done?? Is this a different store that sells them, or the one that was going out of buisness, and if it is a different store, do they have a website too???
