One Night Stand is a 1997 drama film about an African-American Los Angeles man named Max's one-night affair with a white New Yorker named Karen while he was there for a job meeting. A year passes, and the couple ran into each other while Max's gay friend Charlie is dying of AIDS, and the two must tell their respective spouses about their indiscretion.
The movie starred Wesley Snipes, Nastassja Kinski, Kyle MacLachlan, Ming-Na Wen and Robert Downey, Jr. It was directed by Mike Figgis, who had just helmed his Oscar-nominated "Leaving Las Vegas" two years before. Unlike his previous film, this movie was not well-received by critics and was ignored by audiences.
Regardless, is anybody familiar with this one?
