"A group of teen-age runaways try to survive in the streets of Los Angeles.
Drugs, prostitution, violence and bureaucratic indifference all pose threats to the kids,
who nevertheless prefer this harsh life to going back to their families." (IMDb)

- Every 26 seconds child runs away from home -

This was a very good street drama directed by Marc Rocco (Dream a Little Dream).
I´ve always found these "street kids" movies interesting and this was no exception.

And what a fantastic cast this movie has:

Dermot Mulroney, Lara Flynn Boyle, Sean Astin, Balthazar Getty, James LeGros, Ricki Lake Will Smith and Peter Dobson.

And if that´s not enough check out the supporting cast:

Kyle MacLachlan, Laura San Giacomo, Adam Baldwin, Rachel Ticotin, Alyssa Milano, David Arquette,
Christian Slater, Stephen Tobolowsky, Leo Rossi and Nancy McKeon.

Hollywood street kids: LeGros, Astin, Lake and Smith.

The cast did a very goog job.
Some of the cast members worked, against the advice of their agents, for a small salary.

It was pretty hard to see Sean Astin as a junkie
but like always, he was just awesome.
We can see lots of cool Hollywood street scenes
because this movie was shot on location Hollywood, L.A., California.

Some will live, some will die. You just try to survive through the day.
Highly recommended!
