After just seeing My Best friend is a Vampire, I knew I remembered Cheryl Pollack from The Marla Hanson movie that was made for TV in 1991.

Does anytone else remember it?? It was a true story, she was a model and her landlord had 2 men attack her, and cut her face with a razor? It was very brutal.

Cheryl Pollack and the real Marla Hanson really look alot alike. I remember watching that movie, and it was pretty good.

Does anyone else remember the movie or the story??

Yes I remember seeing this movie. I think that she had a promising career as a model until that attack happened. I wonder what ever became of the real Marla Hanson. The girl that played her I haven't seen her in anything else that comes to mind.

I did look Marla Hanson up, she became a spokeperson for different things, she endorsed Dermablend- (I think that was the name of it) it was a facial cream she used right after her attack. I was reading an interview she did with Larry King. She is only in her early 40's now, so she isn't that old.

Cheryl Pollack that played her has been in alot of stuff, she was on Melrose Place for awhile.

I absolutely remember that incident...as I recall, Marla became very active in the 'violence against women' movement. I'm glad to hear she looks good and is still socially concious.
