im wondering if anyone has heard of this movie, and what the name of it was. a kid had to drive accross town in a certin amount of time to win a juke box. he had to beat a camero named the black widdow. the race ended at the school football field and they had to hide the 57 chevy under the 50 yard line (it used to be the bacement of an old bard) to get away from the bad guys.

This was not a movie from the 70's but one made in the late 80's or possibly early 90's. I can't recall the title but vividly remember the movie.

Scenes from the movie:
Leather gloves in the glove box.
Microwave timer used as countdown clock during the race.
Special remote control to turn the lights from red to green.

Matt Latanzi is Mr. Olivia Newton John and I believe he retired from acting after they got married. I liked him in My Tutor but he wasn't the best actor.
