Ok I know the odds of anyone knowing this is slim, but here it goes. When I was around 12-14yrs. old I was watching a movie and I thought the name of it was hambone and hillie. The only part I can remember is that there where 2 dogs that where lost for some time. They walked for miles.Came to this farm house where they became friends with the little girl that lived there.
Then one of the dogs was hit by a car.The girl burried it,the other continued on it's way to find it's family.I think the girl either took her necklace off and put it on the cross or gave it to the other dog.If anyone can help i would really be greatful.

I checked the IMDB, cause the title sounded familiar. I think I've seen it. The name of it is Hambone and Hillie. Hambone has to go across country to be reunited with his owner, Hillie. O.J. Simpson is in it...
