Did anyone catch the King Kong trailer yet? You can watch it online and it will also be shown with War Of The Worlds. I think it looks awesome! I like that it will be set in the '30s. The costumes and set designs look wonderful. I can't wait to see it.

I am going to see War of the Worlds this weekend...I hope anyway...so I'll be checking out the trailor...maybe it will be better than I expected...anything is possible...since we all liked Batman...except my Aunt...she wrote me today and said it "reeked". But that's ok...her favorite movie is Thelma and Louise, and it sure was never mine.

That is cool about it being set in the 30's, except when they set stuff in a different time period...it looks even more fake- in most stuff I have seen done today-like the "Notebook"- ...because of the way things are filmed ...it's hard to believe that it is a different time period.

But...I did get all excited over Batman so much...and getting to go "out" to a movie...that now I want to stay on a roll, and keep watching some good stuff.

Part of ISIS' post about her aunt:

Your aunt must be a feminist! [Big Grin]

I just saw the entire trailor. It looks freaky...and looks like King Kong battles Jurassic Park. I was watching it and wondering which guy was suppose to get the girl..Adrianne Brody or Jack Black...cause I thought which one is the better leading guy- cause they both are totally nerdy in my book...I wouldn't want to depend on either one of them to come rescue me. I think I'd stay with King Kong fer shur.

Adrianne Brody looks like the scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz...and Jack Black reminds me of this kid in junior high school, that use to write me notes and tape them on my back that said "I love You"....neither one are "tough" enough for that role...they need someone that looked like Reb Brown in his "YOR" days as the hero in it.

So....is he going to take her to the top of a skyscraper??? They probably did set it in the 30's, because of the Trade Center...cause that is one of the reasons I can't watch the 70's version of King Kong anymore and not be completely depressed.
