Does anyone remember this Chevy Chase film?
He's an air traffic controller who gets the power of telekinesis and uses it to get back at people who treated him badly.
I wouldn't say it's one of his better known films but it does have some good laughs in it.

I haven't seen this, not sure it was released in the UK as I can only find region 1 DVDs.

Its on Prime video, I've added it to my watch list.

I ordered this off pay per view, but didn't think it was very good. Watching him use his powers was interesting but I don't remember laughing when he did it.

Yeah well, it didn't do as well for a reason so I suppose it wouldn't have the laughs of his other films.
I liked the supporting characters too Darcy and Dorita.

Interesting film, I wouldn't say it was his best performance but I did laugh in a few places, I think being in the right mood is key to watching this.

I'm not sure if it's this day and age clouding my judgement but the sound effects used when he used his powers made me cringe a little, might just be me?

I wouldn't say it had a big budget and it didn't really date well, but it had some good moments.

I looked up Ken Shapiro who Directed the movie but he hasn't done anything of note in his writing, directing or acting career.

I remember seeing this a couple times before. There's a couple scenes that made me giggle like the scene where he gave that woman multiple orgasms using his powers or the scene where he made that guys nose bleed profusely in the restaurant. Other than those scenes I don't remember any others worth mentioning. Well, the scenes with Nell Carter were funny too. I think she was the highlight of the movie for me.

I have to agree with you Pyro, Nell was the standout for me as well, did a great job portraying the character and funny too.

Agree that it's a bit of a scattershot film, although it does have its moments, Chevy's car malfunctioning on him during the opening credits being one example. As a side note, he was almost killed in the sequence where he dreams he's flying, as the lights they'd put on his arms short circuited and almost electrocuted him.

Maybe I was too harsh earlier. It wasn't his best, but it did have it's moments. Also, I didn't watch it all so I can't judge.
