The site looks great, neat colors, it really gives it that 80s feel.
The only gripe I have is with the size of the windows. You've obviously gone with the 1024 x 768 size, which means I've gotta keep scrolling from side to side when I'm reading the page.
The 800 x 600 layout of the previous site was much better (sorry). Other than that keep up the good work. :-)

Thanks for the feedback, Roughneck. :-))

I just tried it ..and you're right. It's the DVD info table that causes the problem... everything else would shrink or stretch.

The menu frame is the same size as it was, its just the main window that will have to shrink if you are using 800 x 600.

Is there a reason that you can't use 1024 x 768?

I can use 1024 x 768, but my monitor size ain't that big, and when I use the 1024 x 768 size everything on the screen is so damn small I have a hard job to read it.

Anyway I'm gonna be upgrading soon to a bigger and better monitor so it won't be a problem much longer.
Cheers :-)

Ahhh I see... :-/

...I have made a test page that aims to help lessen or resolve these issues for 800 x 600 users.

It is www.fast-rewind.com/test.htm --if you cut and past this URL Into your browser you can check it out. Its the DVD details that is causing the problem so this test page displays them in a different way...

Let me know what you think?

Hi Nick,

Please excuse my ignorance, but what has changed with the site?

I am known for not being the most terribly observant person but I have not noticed any changes. Perhaps if you highlight what the changes are I can give you some feedback. I know you must put some extraordinary hours into the site but perhaps if you told people what the changes were it would be more obvious. Sorry for sounding like a person who does not appreciate it. I certainly do BIG TIME but my observance skills are lacking.

One suggestion though with the Instant Graemlins is for one of the choices to be Stripe - the Gremlins ring leader:

Hi Bernie [Smile]

If you look, the original post has been dredged up from 2001! [Wink]

There will be a new site design along this year though. I would love to involve the community and get opinions on designs. Would ppl be interested in giving their opinion?

2001 - Well that only proves my point further about how observant I am [Big Grin]

I would certainly be interested in giving opinions if you were thinking of making changes.

Man, I really like the colors you have for the threads. It would be hard to let it go!
