i never saw this movie til last night they gave it one star in the paper but it was on at 10;00 last night on this channel here that plays alot of old movies alot of good actors william holden, peter wheeler from robocop etc. i thought it was pretty good myself! [Smile] [Wink] [Cool]

thanks 80'srocked i also screwed up it was peter weller and richard crenna lol great pics i thought the effects were pretty good in this movie too. i like amanda pays too i think she is a good actress dee

oh i love this movie!
those undersea creature movies always scared me as a kid.. this one and deep star six, fun movies!
peter weller was a cutie in this one.

great pics, 80srocked.

No offense, but I think this movie is THE ABYSS' prison biiiatch! True, this is more horror than sci fi... but still!

I agree that The Abyss is better than this. The Abyss is a masterpiece for me period! Leviathon is definately more horror though and has a different feel. I have heard these two movies get compared to each other alot in the past.

i agree it is not as good as the abyss but better scary movie i think i like the abyss but i think it was a long movie and a little dragged out myself? dee

I watched my new blu ray of leviathan the other night and thought it was a really cool under water horror with a superb cast.

Peter Weller is definitely a very underated actor and with the likes of him,the late great Richard crenna,hector elizondo,Ernie hudson,Daniel stern,lisa eilbacher and amanda pays make this a really entertaining horror flick!

Plus I seemed to be more impressed with the effects work this time round than on my initial viewing of it way back in 89.

Highly recommended - 8/10.
