Devolution here,

Does anyone ever buy movie from site like RareMovieDVD.com?

They had the wild life (clearly not on DVD) and are selling it. I'm super curious.

if you've got a multi region player devo you could always import the official universal release from spain,it's obviously got the spanish writing on the front and back of the cover but it does come with an english audio track.

not sure what that site is like devo but as you would have guessed already i would guess many are probably vhs to dvd rips.

might be ok though.

cool site though Devo...if they are good transfers? I'd say what Warrier says...they are probaly vhs to dvd rips....I know when you buy stuff like those on ioffer.....the quality is rated? which helps in choosing.....

Love that region 2 DVD Warrior! Here's my question......How can I find a good list of not available here but on another region 80s movies?? even when I did a search right now for The Wild Life region 2 dvd on Amazon.....it still wouldn't show up? Amazon is my go too.... [Smile]

you could always visit amazon.co.uk muffy, not sure you'll be able to order through them if you're living stateside but you'll be able to use it to see all region 2 european releases available.

then if you did see something you were desperate to get your hands on you could always pop on ebay and see if any are available through international sellers or if you know someone who imports movies.

hope this helps.

eBay has rules on selling OOP and deleted titles on DVDR rips, and these are pretty strict. However, as long as you find a listing for your movie where the seller specifically states that the listing complies with eBay's policy (and sometimes if they also say that eBay have verified the listing) then you are OK - any comeback in case of copyright problems will be down to the seller.
