Well in my opinion the best BOND movie of the 80s was For Your Eyes Only (1981).As for the best looking BOND chicks of the 80s i vote for O.c.t.op.u.s.y. (1983)and as for the best BOND Roger Moore [Cool]

There aren't many to choose from, are there? I agree with your choices though. I watched "For Your Eyes Only" dozens of times as a kid on HBO or whatever. That might rank as my favorite Bond movie. Love the one...um...from 1983 as well. Kristina Wayborn was a fox in that one. Wow!

I loved Octopussy, but hands down, the best is For Your Eyes Only.

Now, another thing, I just looked up both those films on DVD Empire--why are they so expensive? Like about $35 each.

Okay this is an easy one. The only one that I saw was A View to a Kill. The only reason that I even saw it was because Duran Duran did the song and they were like my absolute favorite at the time!!!

I'm not really a bond fanatic, not seen any of the latest releases with Daniel Craig but I have seen most of the earlier ones with Connery,Moore etc. There were 3 from the 80s i had never seen and they were octupussy, never say never again and the living daylights.
Well I have now got round to watching the living daylights and I got to say I thought it was pretty awesome,I thought timothy Dalton was really good as bond,it features some really good action scenes plus a great title track by a-ha.

I'd rate it as one my favorites from the ones I've seen.

Now just to hunt down octupussy and never say never again and that will be my 80s bond complete.

Definitely Octopussy. Roger Moore was the best '80s Bond, I believe.

50 Shades of Black, a movie parody of 50 Shade of Grey is coming out this month, and has used the same idea on its poster from the Bond film poster For Your Eyes Only

Watched Octopussy for the very first time the other night and i really enjoyed it,it was fast paced and featured some really great stunt work along with some big laughs (I think I found this one to be the most comical of all the bond adventures from this time period that I've seen) I thought this made for a cracking bit of entertainment!

https://youtu.be/bFurkDf6WXg - Plus the Rita Coolidge Theme song All Time High which I thought was pretty ace as well!

Great stuff and that leaves me with only one 80s Bond adventure to track down now and that is Never Say Never Again and then I've seen them all from that decade!

"For Your Eyes Only" (1981). Excellent theme song, amazing storyline, incredible scenery, and some of the most gorgeous women in a JB film.

One of my favorite scenes in any JB movie was in this one: the sequence when JB's tricked-out car had a clever (but fatal) "anti-theft" feature - i.e., when a bad guy tried to break into the car, it blew up! LOL.

I also have strong memories of the Marvel comic book adaptation of the film as well.
