Not that I am a fan or anything but I remember seeing this movie when I was a kid and I once told a mate when I was about 18 that I used to watch it. He still pays me out about it now and I am 26. I have not seen the movie since the late 80's though. Does anybody else remember it?

I havent seen it. I remember when i was a kid I watched a show where they were showing them filming it and interviewing Peter Billingsly and I thought "Hey, thats Ralphie from A CHRISTMAS STORY! I wanna see that" but I ddint see it in theaters and I dont recall my video store ever having it. Apparently its on DVD cuz I looked at NETFLIX and They Have It! So it IS on my NETFLIX list!

I remember this one alright, as mentioned Ralphy from A Christmas Story was in it.

If Ii remember right the Bike was possessed like Herby, the main plot of the story was to stop the local Hot Dog joint from being demolished by a property developer.....havent seen it in a long time so I'm not sure how it holds up

I loved it as a kid. Saw it again as an adult, and oh boy... it really wasn't good!

Watched The Dirt Bike Kid first time yesterday.
It was a fun kids flick!

"When his mother sends Jack off with money to buy groceries,
he comes home with a magic supercharged dirt bike instead.
His mother is furious, but when Jack uses the magic bike to save the local hot dog stand
from the clutches of corrupt big business, he becomes the town hero." (IMDb)

Peter Billingsley is sooo nerdy with his glasses [Smile]
Stuart Pankin was awesome as the evil bank manager Mr Hodgkins.
Also starring Sage Parker as hot miss Clavell and Chad Sheets as sex crazed Bo.
And of course the dirtbike that has mind of it´s own. Never seen a motorcycle in jail before [Cool]

Computers and floppy discs, arcade, Transformers blanket and another villain named Big Slime.
I love it!

The end credits tune is a lost aor classic:

"Standing On The Edge Of Love"
