Well, March Madness has begun! Last year, I posted a thread about the the movie "Hoosiers" and its connection with NCAA Tourney giant killer Butler that made it all the way to the championship game.

But this year.. I'm totally feeling a night of "Teen Wolf" as entertainment between NCAA tourney games. Remember that Scott Howard did lead his team to the 1985 District Championship and please click the pic below for the tune that is a must listen while posting on this thread:

 - (click to play)

I noticed that while "Teen Wolf" didn't show up in the group Top 20.. it did indeed receive a few votes, but I think Muffy got confused and thought "Teen Witch" was in a combo-pack for her Top 20 poll.

 -

Btw, should I be concerned that I enjoyed "The Wolf" way better than Scott Howard. Don't get me wrong... Scott was a nice guy, but sorry Boof.. The Wolf rocks.

What I mean is that The Wolf knows how to have fun and live for today. I loved the roof surfin', the wolfbball, and of course the break dancin' at the school event. Come on party people the wolf was just wicked cool.

 -

Our pal Stiles was not a guy I would've pick for a friend in high school, however he was definitely a memorable 80's character. Surf's Up!!!

And you've got to appreciate the great life advise from Coach Finstock:

"It doesn't matter how you play the game, it's whether you win or lose. And even that doesn't make all that much difference."

 -

The "Saturday Night Fever" tribute was classic...you're a big bad wolf!

So many great quotes that I still use from "Teen Wolf", but my fav will always be:

"GIVE ME A KEG A BEER .. and these" [Cool]

I was absolutely appalled about the lack of votes for Teen Wolf. It was certainly on my list.

There are three rules that I live by. Never get less than twelve hours sleep, never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city, and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

I love everything about this movie. It has such feeling to it, and I believe I have posted this before but I hold this one in special regard because it is the first movie I remember seeing at the cinema. Back in 85. Yeah, ok so I was only 4 but I was still kickin in '85 and can still remember seeing it.

Great song too Valley. I am listening now. I have this on my ipod too. It's a must have.

Valley. I think you will appreciat this. Remember the dodgy 80's trailers, well click this link and obviously feel free to watch the whole thing but specifically click at the 40 second mark. You will have to trust me on this one.

Thoughts, after watching that?

I loved this song at the end of the movie...owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

Thanks for this thread Valley...and great song 'win in the end'

This movie just got nudged out of my top 20. Some great scenes and a fabulous soundtrack. MJ Fox is probably my fav actor of all time.

'well it didnt pass me by Dad, it landed on my FACE'

'Look at me Dad...Look at YOU'! Hilarious. his Dad looked like the least scariest werewolf iv ever seen. LOL

'you know your momma used to steal chickens from our yard...until i blew her head off with a shot gun'

'Whats so funny'
'AHh...thats 3 fouls ...1 more...and your outta there'!

Bernie.. that is a cool pic, but it also reminded me that I've apparently stumbled on your youtube channel in past. And I've got to be honest with you and mention that your sense of humor has a 'darkside' to it. The language used on your channel was rather abrasive and totally not my style. You've done a decent job of keeping it in check here and I appreciate it.

My humour is on many different levels. Yes, there is a dark level, but I find it enjoyable, as I find bantering on here quite humourous too. I completely understand that my dark sided humour would not be up everyones alley. Sometimes laughing about stuff is what gets me through. My sense of humour may be warped but I consider myself to be a sincere and down to earth person who is always willing to help someone in need. I know if I were to display my dark humour here it would only be a matter of time until I got the boot. I really like this site, so I know not to do that. I probably sometimes get ratty like everyone but I would always be the one to offer a quick apology too.

BTW, Valley, did you watch the trailer that I linked?

Willy, glad you got a laugh out of it. I was in tears.

I'm saying this in the nicest way possible and not to offend anyone at all....but there is a big difference in "darksided" humor, (which I enjoy)......then cussing, name calling and picking on strangers online. I'm surely not saying anyone is. Some sites like IMDB drive me crazy.... they can be so hard to read because I feel like online bullies are a major problem on there. You can't say anything without someone calling you a name or saying you are an idiot because you don't agree with them?

I too appreciate you keeping it in check Bernie.....because this site is filled with positive, 80s movie loving friends that get bored with that kind of behaviour [Big Grin]

I have to add some more pics. Teen Wolf is a true favourite:

 -

"Jeez...Louise."

 -

Scott and Boof walking around the block because there parents won't allow them to cross the street.

 -

Taken, just at the point where Teen Wolf thought he spotted a photographer from National Geographic in the stands.

 -

Stiles the 28 year old high school student in fine form. I have been meaning to get that t-shirt for a while.

 -

If you ever need any worldy advice, Bobby Finstock is the go to guy.

This is about to come out on Blu in the US. I tend to import a lot of my Blu-rays, but in this case I'll wait until it comes to the UK.

It won't be a full-price purchase either.

What about everybody else?

 -

Bernie,

I can't stop laughing at that video.

Yeah, it's ultimately ridiculous ey. I will definitely be getting the BluRay. For sure. I can't wait to see the opening scene in crystal clarity.

EVERYBODY check this. I found this vid a while ago and just spent 20 or so minutes trying to track it down again. Whoever did this vid, done a great job and again feel free to watch the whole thing, but specifically start vid at 5:17. This is hilarious.
