I watched a film about 20ish years ago where there was either kids or young teens in the woods and there was a massive bell which I think fell on one of them maybe at the end of the film and someone went inside the bell. Its not "The Watcher In The Woods" Im sure there was a boy a bit older than the rest and the whole film was pretty much set in the woods.

I know Im not giving much info here but its driving me and my sister mad, we just cant think of it!!

Please help if you can figure out my nonsense! [Smile]

You didn't say what the film was about. Horror? Mystery? Adventure? US / UK?

What do you mean by "Went inside the bell"? 'Watcher in the Woods' does contain a scene where a "massive bell" falls on a character in a church in the woods.

I think the film started off where the kids were messing about in the woods then something weird happens (I really am struggling to remember!) and the kids at the end of the film are by this massive bell and im sure the bell falls and lands on top of one of them.

I would have been about 8 or 9 when I watched this so pretty sure it wouldnt have been a horror, maybe an adventure or a fantasy kind of film? Its all very vague so im sorry about that, but its all I can remember.

I have looked at a few clips of watcher in the woods but none of it rings a bell (Pardon the pun!) Im pretty sure its a different film.

Thanks for trying to help

Smee I love Watcher in the Woods and in all honesty your description sounds just like it.

Not to give much away about the movie but there are two stories going on in it. Lynn Holly Johnson and Kyle Richards move into this house with a huge woods and they learn there was a disappearance that happened many years ago....so the movie has sequences of now and then.....you should watch the whole movie because it really is a great movie....even if it's not what your thinking of?.....your not at a loss.

But seriously I can't think of anything else it could be but Watcher in the Woods?

Hope you find out [Smile]

I'm going to echo Muffy and say watch all of Watcher before discounting it. It tells the story of a 'new' girl and what happened to another group of kids in a parallel story.
