I've just gone through the A-Z in the mainpage and counted how many I own. My number of movies on Fast-Rewind that I have in my collection is,

158.. out of a possible 568!!

I've got a lot of collecting to do!!

I'm not even gonna bother counting. Mine will probably be the lowest on the Rewind. For as many 80's movies that I have seen, I really don't own that many on DVD or VHS compared to everyone else. I store them all between my ears....I'm lucky I have a good memory. I have been getting more since I joined here though.

I have 205 rewind movies at the moment.
167 original dvd´s and 38 original vhs tapes.

Some movies are twice or even three times on that list with different names.

But there´s still lots of collecting to do [Smile]

Just one sec...I'm counting now...1...2...3...4...wow...4 of em! Kidding...no time to count them right now...I'll guess 150 - 200 DVDs. I'll officially count later and post.

I've got 161, most all on DVD....I believe a handful more that are not on the list...I'll check what they are...I know one or two are "Author Author" w' Al Pacino, and "On The Right Track" w' Gary Coleman. So, overall 80's, including ones not listed on the rewind...I'd guess 180 ish.......and still going strong.

I'm actually thinking that the ones who post some of the lower numbers...may be the more sane people on the Rewind. When I walk into Walmart...I swear I hear voices that literally guide me right to the $5.00 DVD bin...I continue to hear voices when I reach it..."keep digging Kevin...keep digging". One time several employees had to dig me out of the bin...they could only see my legs kicking in the air....I was sure I would find a treasure at the bottom. When I got home, my wife was like, "did you pick up the diapers and milk for the baby"? I was hiding my "Bachelor Party" DVD behind my back...no diapers...no milk... [Frown]

Ok....ready for this? I OWN a mere 58 from the Rewind list. I hope that nobody can beat this number, because if I'm gonna being that pathetic, I wanna be number 1.

With that said....I counted 383 that I know I have seen for sure. I think that's decent, plus there are some I might have seen but don't remember the titles. Not to mention all the 80's movies not on that list that I own or have seen.

aTomik...what kind of shoes do you wear? I'll be watching the DVD bins for your feet sticking out! I'm right there with you dude. I have approximately 180 (80's) DVDs....and...likely...overall....600 ish. I'll buy...til I die. I've seen a program where they go into celeb homes, and they were spotlighting Gene Siskel (the thumbs up movie critic)...he had an entire freakin library of movies...literally, without exaggerating, almost every movie ever made....thousands and thousands of DVDs....my hero.

I only own 30 on DVD right now, but I have a bunch more VHS tapes that I need to upgrade.

BTW, I thought it was odd that a few obvious titles were missing from that list (unless I overlooked them): no Temple of Doom or Last Crusade?
