The storyline: A group of homeless teens living in La (I think) all about thier lives, then during the movie one of them gets killed, the other friends plant a peach tree where she lies and every year they come back and have a peach and say "Boy Annie sure tastes good this year"
Can anyone help"

Perhaps you are thinking of the movie "Where the Day Takes You". Sean Astin, Will Smith, Alyssa Milano, and Durmot Mulroney are few of the actors that appear in the movie.

The peach tree scene doesn't ring any bells, but it's been a very long time since I last saw the film.

@saturnchick I searched the trailer, and don't thinks it's it. The actors from what I can remember were younger. Thanks for trying.

It's sort of like Children of the night.

A friend of mine from work found the Movie. It's called Foxes (1980). Starring Jodie Foster. I got the quote wrong it was a pear tree and not a peach. The quote comes at the end of the movie when Jodie is narrating a conversation with Annie.

Ah yes, I've seen Foxes. Didn't make the connection at first, but I'm glad you found the answer to your question.
