Just thought i'd start a thread on favourite actor/actress of the 80s, my favourite actress was Catherine Mary Stewart, she used to be one of the top babes of the 80s in my opinion. Loved her in night of the comet, last starfighter. I had quite a crush on her back then lol [Big Grin] . What was everyone else's favourite actor/actress of the 80s and why?

The Apple 1980

I watch this at least once a week. CM Stewart does a great job.

Fav Catherine Mary Stewart flick is definitely "Night of the Comet", but she was great in "The Last Starfighter" and "Mischief" too.

No surprise here ... my fav actress of the 80's was Deborah Foreman. Mostly because of "Valley Girl", but I admire her dual role performance in "April Fool's Day" as well. You can throw in films like "Waxwork", "My Chauffeur", "Real Genius", "3:15" and "Destroyer" for additional viewing options.

Catherine Mary Stewart was just the absolute tops in my book. One of the few actresses of that decade that could bring me into the theatre irrespective of the genre. I am much more story driven in my predilections, so this is saying quite a lot that I didn't care what the story was, as long as she was in it, I was there opening weekend. Didn't hurt that Night of the Comet, Mischief and The Last Starfighter were all awesome movies to boot!

I like Catherine too.
I´m collecting her 80s flicks and have 8 so far.

Just found and bought her 1987 tv-movie Murder by the Book (starring CMS with Robert Hays).

She also played "Angel Hudson" in a TV movie of Jackie Collins Hollywood Wives.

Let's take a look at this picture...Yummy! Was she hot or what?!?

...and still looking great today! Can you believe that she is 50? She doesn't EVEN look it!

Always had a soft spot for this dark haired beauty. Have quite a bit of her movies including lesser known roles like Dudes. I thought actresses like Amanda Peet carried that brunette tradition like CMS.
