This topic was started years ago but I could not find it. May have been lost due to the spam attack of 2013.
I love seeing them in the movies. Had to have been tons of them on the screen back then.

First one that comes to mind for me is Fast Times at Ridgemont High. What was Spiccoli playing?

Not sure right off hand Pittsburghgirl.

Maximum Overdrive has a game room at a truck stop. A couple games I could recognize were Star Castle and a couple pinball, one was Night Rider

The Bishop of Battle segment starring Emilio Estevez in the 1983 Anthology film Nightmares springs to mind since nearly the whole segment takes place in an arcade.

1983 T&A comedy Joysticks comes to mind as the whole thing was set around an arcade!

Jekyll and Hyde... Together Again! (1982) includes some arcade madness.
We can see Krista Errickson playing Pac-Man and Grand Racer.

 -

And as you can see, she was not very good at it [Big Grin]

 -

Getting It On (1983) also has an arcade scene and this time the guys are playing Robby Roto!
