Haven't watched Christmas Vacation yet, as I always do. This year I got An American Christmas Carol on DVD so I will have to find time to watch it!

I tried to watch Scrooged the other night, but the copy I have...goofed up in my DVD player- and I couldn't see it. I am going to have to break down and buy it, if I ever want to see it, unless anyone knows if it will be playing on regular TV anytime soon. I am sure that it will be ...but I never know what's on TV.

I want to watch Lethal Weapon and Die Hard-those are Christmas movies to me.

We always have to watch Christmas Vacation- it is my favorite Chevy Chase Vacation movie that he did. I love Eddie in this one...my favorite scene is the sled riding scene.

There is :

Silent Night/Deadly Night

That's like the ultimate Christmas Horror movie.

Remember when they were banning that movie in places.

I can't watch, it's too scary.

The 70's movie "Black Christmas" is also pretty creepy.

Two more good ones that primarily take place during Christmas: Trading Places and Less Than Zero.

Two good ones for New Year's: Terror Train and 200 Cigarettes (even though it wasn't filmed in the 80's, it takes place entirely during New Year's Eve and Day in the mid 80's).

A Christmas Story

I like how TBS plays it for 24 hours straight every Christmas. Last year I don't think I watched it straight through in its entirety but I probably saw the whole movie about 3 times if you would piece all the parts I saw together.
