There is a distinct possibility that I may go mad. Having recently invested in a DVD player I am over the moon that most of my favourite 80s movies are now available on DVD but what is the go with The Breakfast Club? It has to be one of the ultimate eighties movies and I have yet to see it on DVD in Australia! I have tried to buy it but don't know if I am buying the right region. Does anyone know anything about this? Can anyone help? I am dying to see that movie again!

Well its due to be out on Region 1 in the next few months with alot of extras. However I havn't heard any news for anywhere else in the world. Seems all the 80s film fans live in the States. (or so the film companies think.) I hope you get some luck in your search but I wouldn't hold your breath. [Frown]

It's getting a 3rd R1 release?! I did have the first R1 release, tried to buy the 2nd release with the 5.1 soundtrack but the site rejected my card for some strange reason and haven't gone back to buy it.
But a release with extras, now that's worth waiting for!

I want to know more about this, too.

Where can I get a press release? For that matter, will they be releasing extra-laden versions of "16 Candles" and "Weird Science" as well?

Hey, if they can release 6 different versions of each "American Pie" movie, then Universal can toss some bones to the fans of the true teen movie classics.

Sincerely,

John Kilduff
