You guys know it's a great summertime 80's pick!

I actually love Richard's parent's time warp apartment.

I always wanted a house just like Bernie Lomax's!! I laughed because maybe I noticed before but didn't...."it's a Lichtenstein!" I knew I always loved that painting and i've become such a fan of his work in the last year it all dates back to my many viewings of WAB.

Larry's whole rigged devices to stand up Bernie....make him wave....Larry was so crafty.

Honestly the gags are cheesy but the slap stick works? doesn't it? I love the scene when Bernie gets buried and they have to vacuum him off....and that little kid and his profanity haha

Silverman and McCarthy make the movie so great so many viewings later for me.

Does anyone like Weekend at Bernies 2?

This is the only movie in which I actually like Andrew McCarthy. Never been a big fan of him, but this movie is ace.

I didn't even know there was a sequel?

Another very good one. The best highlights are Bernie "waterskiing" and Paulie the asssassin getting, shall we say, a kick out of him while trying to catch up to our heroes.

Similar to TKO.. "Weekend At Bernie's" is one of the few movies that I like Andrew McCarty's character. You have to give credit to Terry Kiser as Bernie Lomax for taking this movie to a different level of laughs.

Muffy.. the apartment scene when Richard's dad comes in the room is one of my favorite moments in the movie.

Another good flick with Catherine Mary Stewart!

I totally think she was so beautiful in this movie! that dress in the date scene? she was a total 80's babe.

I've always liked McCarthy but I know where you guys are coming from Larry was hilarious and great!

I was gonna write on here last night and forgot that I always loved the song in the end credits "Hot and Cold" I always sing it....."some never know....wooo wooo" Didn't find out til yesterday it's Jermaine Stewart I had no idea!!

Andrew normally seems quite uptight in movies, in this he's clearly having an absolute blast.

Catherine Mary was very lucky; she never became a household name but she managed to be in a few stone-cold classics.

Love 'Weekend at Bernies'. I remember being mocked mercilessly for saying that back in the 90's. But I felt no shame whatsoever! It's a silly, fun, funny movie.

logan5.. I think you are right.. the reason I like Andrew McCarthy in "Weekend At Bernie's" is the fact he appears to be having an blast in it.

Such a fun movie..

One of very few movies in which I think the sequel is just as funny as the 1st movie. Both excellent films.

I love this movie! I think it has the Grow-On-You appeal because when I saw it in the theater the first time I didnt think it was THAT great and then after watching it on home video and TV I just fell in love.

Like someone else said , never have was Andrew McCarthy more appealing (maybe were finding out a little too late he was better suited for CVomedy and not Drama?) He and Johnathon Silverman have such great chemistry in this movie. They work off eachother very well.

Theres one line in this movie that I use A LOT. "Never better" - from the scene where the woman 'sleeps with' dead Bernie.

The sequel is HORRIBLE !

Although you do have to admit, Bernie "dancing" across the bottom of the ocean has a sort of bizarre appeal to it.
