I have decided to regenerate this series--here goes:
Okay, I was home sick yesterday and I caught this 1989 action movie. I was disappointed. I was even more disappointed when I saw that it was directed by Ridley Scott. It seemed far below his caliber of work.
I did like the relationship between Nick and Mas. I think it would have been better if Mas would have opened up and really acted like an American cop.
The actor that portrayed Sato died in 1989 of bladder cancer.
One thing I did not like about the film is that they should have subtitled everything. They didn't subtitle the restaurant massacre I guess so the audience wouldn't know what was going on. But it just makes it look like bad filmmaking to not have put it in there.
Oh well, I think it would have been better if they had more comedy. The action sequences weren't very good. Except for Andy Garcia getting his head cut off and the guy on the motorcycle getting blown up.
Oh well what do you all think?
