I recently bought Stephen Kings The Mist on CD because it sounds exactly like this movie I was looking for. I got on his website to ask if his book was ever a movie and no response. It was one of those late night movies I use to see with the Toxic Avenger and Nuk um high and stuff. No one seem to know the name of it but I am sure it was a move because I am not a big reader.

Are you sure it was Stephen King?? I am not a King buff, but I don't recall anything of his called "The Mist".

I know there is an audiocassette from Stephen King called 'The Mist' (1986) but the story hasn’t been filmed yet. The Mist Movie Film rights are owned by Frank Darabont but production has not begun at this time.
Could it be you’re confusing it with John Carpenters 'The Fog'? There’s a review of it on the smartmenu on the left.
