Does anyone know of any events, parties etc that are going on in LA itself. Seems the perfect place seeing as that is where it was filmed?

Hi buddy.
I didn't like the fact that no one has posted a reply to your post, so I am taking a moment to do so.
I don't think anything special will happen with regards to 30 years since KK was released. There doesn't appear to be much interest on here or anywhere else for that matter. Maybe people just don't care. As for us die hards, well we live in hope!

There was a special anniversary screening of 'The Karate Kid' last year at Little Tokyo in Downtown Los Angeles. Ralph, Pat's daughter and several of the production team had a full panel. Unfortunately, I missed it due to work.
