Classic afternoon general knowledge game show hosted by amiable Irishman Henry Kelly.

I loved this show, it was truly an international effort; trying to get all the European Union nations into one place. It occupied that magical time when people hadn't quite realized the E.U. was a bollocks idea and were, on the face of it, trying to get along...at least for 20 minutes on a Tuesday afternoon.

Going for Gold opening

Loved the concept, 4 in a row was always pretty tough, all in all a great show to watch when you're pulling a sickie or simply just bunking off school / work. Believe it or not, but it actually ran for a decade, though I don't count the non-E.U. seasons as GFG proper.

They did bring it back for one series last year, but wasn't picked up. A game show with questions, now those were the days.
