Hello to all after long break in this forum. Glad to be back.

Does anybody know if there is DVD from short lived show Hollywood Beat? It starred Jack Scalia and Jay Acovone. It has made only one season, does anybody know any particular reason or details about the series?

The theme was sung by Natalie Cole. It would be superb to have. The show had also good tones from 80's, even a self compiled soundtrack could be somehow done.

Hi Wraith!

I remember loving this show back in the day.
They aired the episodes here in Finland in the 80s, somehow i missed the reruns in the early 90s.
Sadly, not much info on the net about his show.
I would love to see Hollywood Beat dvd set but i won´t hold my breath.

Yeah, this was fun to watch on late saturday evenings. I remember it to be aired in spring or autumn in 1986 or 1987, am I right? Possibly on every saturday or taking turns with Miami Vice or Houston Knights?

Managed to get at least one show, could be one or two more in VHS from 90's reruns.

Very short info on Wikipedia too. Stopped after one season so there must not have been any major success in the US. I have wondered what could be the reason - some oversupply of the cop shows at the time?

Is there yet any DVDs from Matt Houston or Crazy Like a Fox?
