Oh so many, but off the top of my dome...

THE MIGHTY QUINN- Despite being a thriller of sorts, the laid back island vibe and beautiful Jamaican locations just puts me in a relaxed summer mood.

SUMMER SCHOOL- Perhaps the ultimate summer flick. Not that much of anything happens, but that's part of the charm.

UNDER THE BOARDWALK- So-Cal beach setting, rival surfer gangs, girls in bikinis, fun parties and I absolutely love Roxana Zal's Gitch character... hot, foul mouthed, bad *** surfer girl.... that's wifey material right there [Smile]

THRASHIN'- Rival skaters, Venice Beach, Love story, great soundtrack... this movie has it all.

NORTH SHORE- Hawaiian set surf drama with Nia Peeples in various states of undress and lots of Zen surf philosophy.... puts you in a good mood.

SIDE OUT- LA sunshine, bikini babes, beach volleyball and yadda yadda.... love it.

Others.....

Secret Admirer
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
Weekend at Bernies
Can't Buy Me Love
Loverboy
Nerds in Paradise
The Burbs
Against All Odds
Falling Down
Matinee
White Men Can't Jump
Dazed and Confused

And on and on...

Great list above. Pretty much anything set in summer works for me.

'Summer Rental', 'Vacation', 'Great Outdoors', 'Meatballs' (and any summer camp movies), 'Grease', 'Lucas'... tons of them.

Many Teen movies always seemed to be filmed in summer too (maybe that was the California thing, or maybe it was because they were filmed during summer holidays so High Schools were empty).

Some fun films there, my friend. My favorites of your collection, in order, would have to be Breathless, The Sure Thing, Meatballs, Mischief, Secret Admirer, and Hot Pursuit. The Legend of Billy Jean is a guilty pleasure. [Smile]

I love a good summer movie!

Great Outdoors - Can't get enough of this one
Vacation - Annual must watch
Weekend at Bernie's - pure summer
Summer Rental - Not as good as Great Outdoors, but still good
Dazed and Confused - Such a good movie
Fast Times - Has a little bit of the whole year, but seems more summer
The Way Way Back - Summer and beach!
Field of Dreams - Baseball, brings me back to my youth

I'm sure I'm missing some of my other favorites in here!

I love The Great Outdoors Gordon,it's not long come out on Blu in the US.

Cheers Crash,The Legend Of Billie Jean is good fun, cast is is what makes it I think with both the Slater's and Keith Gordon who's always pretty great as is Peter Coyote who also appears, cool soundtrack and a great summer time feel to it as well!

Like Logan mentioned a lot of the teen flicks do seem to be shot in the summer so instantly when I think of summer movies I straight away think of them!

Here's a few more i tend to view in the summer months -

 -

H.O.T.S,The Cheerleaders (1973),The Last American Virgin,Weekend At Bernie's,The Beach Girls,Blame It On Rio.

 -

Dazed And Confused,Fast Times At Ridgemont High,License To Drive,The Hollywood Knights,Loose Screws: Screwballs 2,My Tutor.
