you mean it sampled an 80s tune or it just sounds like it?
when i first heard it, it sounded very 80s to me. it reminds me of a depeche mode song. not the singing, but the actual music.

I think it's just a basic 80's-structured song using dated sounding synths for a retro feel. It sounds generically like a dozen 80's songs. All except for the 'for-the-love-of-god-stop-using-it' autotune effect.

No different sounding than the 10 million dance/nightclub songs we've all heard 10 million times over already. Though the melody is a bit of a cross between "Send me an Angel" by Real Life, & "Careless Whisper" by George Michael. But other than that, it's just your average forgetable Club song.
