Weird question I know... but if you could enjoy the experience of watching or hearing something for the first time again, what would you choose?

If I had the ability to watch it again for the first time, I'd love to watch "Buffy". I remember how excited I was each week, waiting for Thursday nights for Buffy to come on, this was during Season 1 back in 1997 before it became big, and it felt like my little secret, that I had this fantastic show that I knew about and no-one else did!

As far as films go i would love to experience the first three Star Wars films for the first time again just for the sheer scale of the films.

T.V. show would have to be V just because it was something me and a couple of mates just stumbled across.

I'd like to experience the early days of MTV all over again. When videos were fresh and new groups were becoming overnight senasations because of their videos who normally probably wouldn't have broken out otherwise

Nice topic Stitch. I wouldn't mind reliving watching shows like Three's Company, Mork and Mindy and Laverne and Shirley when they were new. I still watch reruns of all of them, but miss that kind of brand new feeling you get at a young age.

Also would have loved to have been a little older when Wayne Gretzky started his career as hockey phenom. I was a little too young when Gretzky was busy demolishing the NHL record book.

I'm with Sam...except I didn't have MTV. Used to watch a show every week call Friday Night Videos w' Stu Jefferies. I still remember the excitement each week waiting to see the newest 80's videos, and hoping they would play your favorites. I remember seeing Thriller for the first time, Van Halen's Jump, Prince, Cyndi Lauper, Huey Lewis, etc, etc, * Still love love love playing all my old favs...wish I had some original intros from Stu Jefferies.

TV: Always anxiously awaited the new episodes for Different Strokes, Dukes Of Hazzard, Greatest American Hero, etc

Movies: ET, Gremlins, * I remember going to see Christmas Vacation in theatres and laughing hysterically when Chevy was going down the snow hill on his saucer....still laugh today, but I've seen it so many times...ain't nothin like the first time....

Re Hockey...I so wish I didn't use Wayne Gretzky rookie cards to make that cool noise on my bicycle spokes. Ditto Riptide...I was so young during Gretzky's prime years, that I certainly remember the excitement around the super stars....but unable to truely appreciate the talent like I can today.....proud to say, however...I am still a die hard Oilers fan today...jumped on one band wagon, as everyone must do at first....but have stuck with my team for all these years...through the highs...and the very obvious lows. Also loved Guy Lafleur, Mike Bossy, Ken Dryden, Stasney Brothers, Mark Messier, Brian Trottier, etc, etc,

I'd choose the Wonder Years. It's my all-time fave TV show. I'd love to be able to watch it again for the first time.

For movies I'd choose the Ringer. I realize it's a fairly new movie, but it is one of my all-time fave movies also. It's such a great film.

For music I'd have to say watching Metallica's One video. It creeped me out the first few times I watched it. I'd like to rewatch it w/o getting creeped out lol.

I watched this every week as well and couldn't wait to see the new vids.

I'm with Stitch on Buffy too, but not until the later seasons when it developed a real storyline. Most of you are probably thinking that this was some kind of kids show, but it was really one of the best adult shows on tv that nobody(except the cult following)knew about. Joss Whedon was a brilliant script writer for this show and Angel as well.

X-Files & Stargate SG-1 were awesome watching for the first time as well as the V series. The best ever for me though was watching episodes of MacGyver for the first time as a kid. The excitement that built up inside me starting from the morning was awesome.

I didn't think about sports. I'd love to go back and see the one race that Adam Petty ran in the (at that time) Winston Cup. I'd love to relive da Bears Super Bowl victory and see Walter Payton play again. RIP Adam and Walter... [Frown]

Forgot to mention some albums.....

Iron Maiden - Somewhere in Time:
Just as great as it was expected to be. I would love to go back in time to hear Wasted Years again for the first time.....what a masterpiece.

Dokken - Back for the Attack:
I was blown away with this album and is my fave by them. It is actually one of my favorite albums of all-time.

Ozzy Osbourne - No Rest for the Wicked:
Alot of excitement for me on the anticipation of this one because of the new guitarist, Zakk Wylde. Was an awesome first listen for me.

With you guys talking about sports, I got to thinking that I'd love to watch the opening ceremony of the Sydney Olympics again. I was so proud to be Australian that night, especially when Cathy Freeman ran around the stadium with the torch. Although when the cauldren got stuck on it's way up to the top of the stadium, I'm sure the whole country was holding it's breath!

Anything from the 80s would be just fine by me!! Any soundtracks that I loved so much like Footloose, Dirty Dancing, and Top Gun. Any movie or TV show would do nicely too!

I'd like to have experienced the original Friday the 13th in theaters when it first came out. I was only 5 when it was released. Did anyone on here get to see it in the theaters when it was first released?

TV Shows: The Bionic Woman, Grizzly Adams, The Greatest American Hero, Three's Company, The Facts of Life, Wonder Woman, Charlies Angels, The Incredible Hulk, Starsky and Hutch, CHips.

Allthough, I do have most of these on DVD now, and watching them now, it is like experiencing them for the first time, since I can't remember much about the individual episodes.

Movies....I would love to see some horror movie in the theaters ...ones I was also too young for when they came out like...Halloween, Friday the 13th and Prom Night.

I would love the whole feel of what it was like to see Saturday Night Fever and Grease for the first time.

Music....I remember seeing Michael Jackson do Billie Jean for the 1st time, that was pretty cool, and seeing Prince sing When Doves Cry.

I remember when we first saw Boy George- he blew us away- I loved Culture Club's music.
