We are struggling with names, anyone have suggestions. My wife is very particular in that she doesnt want a name that is common. Any classic 80's female characters with unique names that I could pitch to her. Oh and the last name is Craig.

I like the names:

Briar
Saffron
Sage
Scarlett
Holly

I always loved the name "Stevie" (Nicks) for a girl.

Lisa (my name)-it use to be so popular- but I don't see people using it much anymore, but there were alot of Lisa's in the movies. Like in Weird Science.

I like the name "Mercedes" too.

Jodi "Dazed and Confused" - not 80's, but I liked that name and the character in the movie.

Heh - my first name is Craig!

Shawna
Tegan (my favorite Dr Who companion from the 80's)
Ramona
Kimmi
Six (sorry, Blossom fetish)
Ami
Candice
Lisey
Lluvy
Dominique

In Australia for the last few years, the bogans (our version of rednecks) have taken to changing the spelling of regular names into almost unrecognisable formats, for example

Jaxson
Klohy
One poor kid was named A.Lien Ripley
Schapelle (which is actually a nice name, but made famous by a convicted drug trafficer in Indonesia)
Braydon

My alltime favorite has got to be Typhphynniii (Tiffany). No joke, they really named her that.

Little girls are so much fun! Moody...but so much fun! Other than my daughters name, I have always liked Estella. I know Estelle was mentioned before, but I like Estella better. I may have named my little one that instead if I would have thought of it sooner actually. Good luck with the naming.
