Does anyone else have really weird dreams?

Do you ever dream about the past? Have you had dreams where you were back in time and in the 80s?

Lately I have been dreaming about different people I was friends with in high school...sometimes I dream about people I barely knew. I have such strange dreams. My mind is constantly thinking about stuff...When I wake up in the morning, I have like a billion ideas of things that I want to do. I never feel rested because I dream so much.

I went to a sleep clinic once, and got hooked up to one of those machines, it didn't do me any good, and it was so hard to fall asleep with all those things stuck to my head....but I had a horrible nightmare, and they caught it on the graph they did of my brain waves, but I have no idea what they can do about that stuff.

I felt like Nancy in Nightmare on Elm Street.

I don't recall my dreams every night, but when I do, they are the weirdest things you can imagine. I do dream about past events, but they are always different than how it really happened. Sometimes they are in color, sometimes black and white. I have had many that take place in the 1800's. I don't have many nightmares, but when I do, they are so bad that they scare the crap out of me. Most of the time it will have something to do with lions trying to kill me or attack me....why?, I have no idea.
My mind is always going and thinking too....when I am awake. I actually over-think everything and that is probably why my dreams are so whacked out. I would love to go to a sleep clinic one day. I have mentioned many times about the books I have read on controlling dreams and dream analysis. It really is a fascinating subject, but didn't help explain why mine are so weird.
