I been good...I know it...I've asked for:
*a power saw
*Nina Simone CD
*Dark Night DVD, or any seasons of my favorite 70's / 80's shows...MASH, All In The Family, etc
*a pair of chords and some t-shirts
* some books - maybe try the Twilight series?
* a couple bottles of Red Wine - some I haven't tried
* and some surprizes.

I give my wife a list each year..it's a running joke. Sometimes it backfires, as she tries not to get too many items on my list...in order to surprize me......we'll see.

I never asked for anything. I have no idea what I am getting. I know some of my friends said they have some cool stuff for me. I think I have got some really good gifts this year for other people. I was working on painting tonight-I am painting someone's house on a slate for them for a Christmas present. I am tired. Tomorrow I have to make food all day.

I have been lucky because I have been given so many cool things over the years from my friends and family...so I must have been pretty nice to them.

It seems like Christmas is coming so fast...and then it's over before you know it.

When my mom was little they never even put their tree up until Christmas Eve. Mine is up for almost 2 months!

I've been a very very good boy this year. But I make sure I look after everyone else too!

I've bought -

for my mum - Andre Rieu DVDs
for my dad - a camping washing machine
for both - an outdoor garden clock
for my sister - an ipod speaker dock
for my nana - large print crossworld books
for my brother - a beer mug with a bell on it so he can annoy his wife!
for my sister in law - a diffuser set
for my partner Sean - a chocolate fondue set and a set of vouchers for massages and manicures.

I love Christmas morning because I get to watch everyone enjoy opening their presents, I get a lot more fun out of that than I do from recieving (that's not to say I don't love recieving)

I never really ask for much. I really do just enjoy giving people presents. That's always been my favorite gift. Every year my sister sends me something she found in a $5.00 bin or some crap you wouldn't want. The rest of us laugh about it. Two years ago she sent my brother a "broken" vase. How do I know it was already broken you ask? Because we put all of the pieces together that were in the box and it was missing half of them! We STILL laugh about this one. Every year I send her nice things that she needs or might like. The rest of my family says I'm a sucker... I'll show them! I'll buy her twice as much this year. [Smile] I also want to donate more this year. It's going to be a particularly bad Christmas for many people this year with the economy in the hole.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas this year!!! Happy Hanukkah to our Jewish friends...

I only asked for one thing this year, from my folks - the XFiles DVD box set. It's fairly expensive so I offered to pay half, but my folks told me they will pay the whole amount because of the things I've bought them during the year
