This is a tough call as it's basically the same band. I love love love freestyle but let's be honest, it all sounds the same.

Their dance hits come up a draw, but the tie is broken in Expose's favor due to I'll Never Get Over You Getting Over Me. What a heart wrencher. Sooooo goooood!

And what about Sweet Sensation? Right up there as well!

(Ok, I'm being a bit cheeky. Yes, I can tell them apart, and obviously Expose slays the competition. No contest.)

I DID think of SWEET SENSATION. But I dont think they were as big around here.

Actually it seems like EXPOSE was probabaly best known cuz Instead of just being on FREESTYLE stations they also got on Top 40 radio because of their ballads (Seasons Change, Ill Never Get Over...)

Expose all the way.

But when it comes to "Point of No Return", i´ve always loved also the Nu Shooz tune:

I have their ´86 "Poolside" album.

I agree, Nu Shooz are great and Poolside is an album you can listen to front to back.

My vote goes to Expose- Point of No Return, Come Go with Me, Seasons Change, Tell Me Why, What You Don't Know Might Hurt You, I'll Never Get Over You (Getting Over Me), Let Me Be the One-all great freestyle hits.

I definitely associate The Cover Girls more closely with Sweet Sensation. I've always had difficulty distinguishing their hits. I loved Funk Boutique, We Can't Go Wrong, Wishing on a Star, Love Child, I'm Hooked on You, Show Me, If Wishes Came True, and Because of You, but I can barely figure whose song it is.

I always group Seduction in this category too - they have a few good songs - Two to Make it Right, Could This Be Love, Heartbeat, and You're My One and Only.

When I read the subject title ("EXPOSE vs COVER GIRLS"), I thought Mamamiasweetpeaches was asking us who would win a cage match between these two groups! Now that would be something I'd watch as a pay-per-view event. [Razz]
