Any fans out there of the 80's Hair band...Triumph. I had totally forgotten about Triumph until I heard "Magic Power" on the radio tonight. It brought back some cool high school memories of cruising in my friend's new red Celica. The only problem was he only had AC/DC, Night Ranger, or Triumph tapes. So after hours upon hours of Back In Black & Dirty Deeds...I was loving a little Night Ranger and Triumph.

Magic Power hasn't aged well, but if you enjoyed it in the 80's, you would still like it now. Fight The Good Fight still rocks!

Triumph was awesome. I only got to see them once, and they were also known for having their excellent lazer show during their shows. It was really "high tech" for the 80's. Great muscicians, and I liked how in concert they took turns singing different songs. It ranks in my top 5 concerts I'd say. Wish there could be a reunion.

Blimey - I haven't listened to Triumph for a looooong time, but I'll have to dust off the old albums again now I reckon - thanks Valley! [Big Grin]

Rik Emmett was a hell of a guitarist, and i still have their "Night of Triumph" live video around here somewhere.
