America - Prince. For those who haven't heard it, it's a song about America that speaks out against communism. I'm guessing that counts.

America - Neil Diamond (from his "Jazz Singer" movie)
VOA (Voice of America) - Sammy Hagar
American Storm - Bob Seger
Kids In America - Kim Wilde
The Kid's American - Matthew Wilder
Calling America - Electic Light Orchestra
American Music - The Pointer Sisters (1982)
American Heartbeat - Survivor
French Kissing In The USA - [can't remember who sings it!]

I don't know if it's 80's, but wasn't there a song called "I'm So Bored With The USA"? Who sang that one? The Clash? Sex Pistols?

"French Kissing..." was performed by Debbie Harry and "I'm So Bored..." was, I believe, performed by The Clash.

Oh, that one, too! [Big Grin] And we also can't forget Kids In America. Although I kinda like the Jimmy Neutron version better. [Smile]

Yep, it was Night Ranger that did it. It's on the soundtrack to the 1985 movie "Explorers".
