I love the movie Tootsie, it is a movie that I don't ever see talked about that much. I am thinking about watching it soon.

I love this song from the movie:

Time, I've been passing time
Watching trains go by.
All of my life,
Lying on the sand watching seabirds fly.
Wishing there would be
Someone waiting home for me.
Something's telling me it might be you
It's telling me it might be you...
All of my life...

Beautiful song, brilliant film.

Sydney Pollack recorded a commentary track for the Laserdisc release, but there's nothing on the DVD [Frown]

I've got my fingers crossed for a 25th anniversary edition next year.

Even though it's a 1982 song, it's more of a '70s holdover than true "80s".

But, categorizations aside, I love the song, too. [Smile] Kinda romantic and sweet in a sad way, if that makes any sense. I've always liked these types of songs.

It's a beautiful song. I first heard it on one of those 70s shows, Yesterday Live, I think it was.
