The Vegas Strip War (1984)

This was a decent made-for-tv flick starring Rock Hudson (in his last movie)
the lady of the week Sharon Stone, Madison Mason, Robert Costanzo,
James Earl Jones and Pat Morita.

Rock Hudson plays Neil Chaine, a charming Las Vegas hotel/casino owner
who tries to turn his decaying building into The Strip's top attraction to avenge his outting
by his former partners who run a more fancy hotel/casino just across the street.
(IMDb)

Purgatory (1988)

Category C women in prison flick set in South Africa and starring Tanya Roberts.
The score included some enjoyable synth parts.
Some skin, evil warden, the usual WIP flick ingredients.

Bloodstone (1988)

So, my world tour took me from South Africa to India.
This was a funny and stupid adventure flick directed by Dwight H. Little (Halloween 4)
and written and produced by Nico "The Zero Boys" Mastorakis.
The plot:
A ruby has been stolen and everyones after it.

The movie features some funny one-liners, stupid fights,
one funny taxi driver (Rajinikanth, Indian superstar) and one really stupid inspector.
Oh boy, i think that the world tour ends here [Cool]

Secret Weapons aka Sexpionage (1985)

This was an interesting tv-movie about young Russian girls recruited to be sex spys.
Starring Linda Hamilton, Sally Kellerman, James Franciscus, Geena Davis and Hunt Block.
It was also nice to see Christopher Atkins in a small role.

The girls learn that americans drink ice water, eat hot dogs
and a funny fact that America´s religion is sex [Big Grin] [Big Grin]
Cool stuff!

Recently watched:

Planes, Trains...., Some Kind Of Wonderful, and Teachers....three 80's movies in a relatively short period of time...that's a record for me! Gonna try for another classic tonight, though pretty confident my wife will make me watch The Social Network!

I watched Secret Admirer for the first time. Did not think that much of it though.

I thought Kelly Preston looked much hotter in Twins.

Just finished watching The Last Starfighter. WOW! I was sure I'd seen this as a kid, but only vaugly remembered a couple of scenes, so this was basically a first time viewing for me...I must have only seen parts...not likely I would have forgotten everything. Really liked it and am now further in love with Catherine Mary Stewart.....
