The movie in question take's place in the Amazon. Our hero is a 'Indiana Jones' type that saves a lovely blonde from a tribal chief who happens to bed the blonde before being rescued by our hero.

Any help is appreciated.

Perhaps it is The Further Adventures of Tennessee Buck (1988).

Alternatively, I doubt it is Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold (1986) which I have no recollection of at all...

Thanks, WolfmansGotNards it is ' The Further Adventures of Tennessee Buck'.
