It's a fictional product it doesn't matter!

Doesn't matter? Yeah try telling that to the bank.

Finally got around to watching North Shore!! I have been wanting to watch this forever. Still not sure how I feel about it...good surfing action, but I found the lead actor to be rather annoying. Overall, I enjoyed myself.

Rude Awakening (1989)

A hippie comedy directed by David Greenwalt (Secret Admirer) and Aaron Russo.
Starring Eric Roberts, Cheech Marin Julie Hagerty, Robert Carradine and Cliff De Young.

It´s a decent film, just a bit too silly at times.
The soundtrack is a nice mix of 60s stuff and few 80s tunes.

City in Fear (1980)

"A psycho-on-the-loose story, about a burned-out newspaper columnist and his circulation-hungry publisher
who wants him to turn the killer into Page One news." (IMDb)

This was a decent made-for-tv crime drama with an interesting cast.
Robert Vaughn is the publisher of the Sun newspaper.
David Janssen (in his last role) is the columnist "The Godfather".
Lane Smith, William Daniels and M. Emmet Walsh are also Vaughn´s staff.
Susan Sullivan is Vaughn´s wife and she looks pretty.

Mickey Rourke is the crazy "dream girl killer" - he only kills young and pretty girls.
Oh yeah, he has a Charles Bronson poster on the wall, how fitting [Smile]
Perry King and Pepe Serna are the cops and Frank McRae their captain.
Surprisingly good role from King, maybe it was the mustache he had...
Mary Stuart Masterson is one of the victims in her second movie.

Maybe a bit too long (about 130 mins) but not bad tv-movie at all.
Don´t know why the director Jud Taylor decided to use the pseudonym Alan Smithee.

Rape and Marriage: The Rideout Case (1980)

"Based on the real-life Oregon criminal case which dramatizes the unique dispute in which Greta Rideout
instigated the prosecution of her husband, John, charging him with raping her." (IMDb)

Battle of the sexes in Salem town!
This was an interesting tv-movie starring Mickey Rourke, Linda Hamilton, Rip Torn,
Eugene Roche, Conchata Ferrell and Gail Strickland.
I liked the surprising ending.

Down And Out In Beverly Hills (1986)

 -

I honestly couldn't find a topic on this movie here.. but it has been mentioned. Was on cable last night... been years since I last watched. it's one of those movies where I can't really remember the scenes until I watch and everything comes back. Good movie, that doesn't get talked about much!

Always loved the way the movie opens with Talking Heads' "Once In A Lifetime"...awesome song.
