This was a decent dramedy about a rebellious boy, his mixed up family and friends. The cast is interesting: Keanu Reeves, Fred Ward, Bonnie Bedelia, Amy Madigan and Jay O. Sanders. You can already see lots of Ted (from Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure which came year later) on Reeves´s role in this movie.
Loved the school dance scene "You can´t come here, you must wear Dallas or Dynasty" and the Freddy mask during the kidnapping sequence.

The Black Cat (1981) - It's alright and Patrick Magee makes everything watchable. But probably my least fave adaptation.

Honky Tonk Freeway (1981). Beau Bridges, Hume Cronyn, Beverly D'Angelo, William Devane, George Dzundza, Teri Garr, Joe Grifasi, Howard Hesserman, Paul Jabara, Geraldine Page and Jessica Tandy. A motley assortment of characters converge on a small Florida town that greatly wants to attract tourists.
I wonder if Devolution has watched this film?

This was average thriller directed by Luis Llosa (Sniper) and shot in Peru. The movie stars Erik Estrada, Robert Vaughn, Orlando Sacha, Alfredo Álvarez Calderón and Lourdes Berninzon. Only for diehard Estrada fans.

"The intertwined lives and loves of three highly-ranked athletes striving for the national team; Chris bounces between the beds of male coach Terry and her female friend, competitor, and role model Tory. (IMDb)
This was a decent sports drama written and directed by Robert Towne ( Tequila Sunrise etc.) Starring Mariel Hemingway, real life track star Patrice Donnelly, Scott Glenn and Kenny Moore. Hemingway was very good and i loved the early 80s feel.
Woman to woman love, nice pentathlon cinematography and few good soft rock tunes on the soundtrack (Billy Joel, Boz Scaggs, Doobie Brothers, Kenny Loggins, Fleetwood Mac etc.)

A first rate late night cable erotic thriller. Errickson is all over the place sexing it up just trying to get on some gravy train. Galligan is a depressed husband not taking care of business. Murder and cover ups follow....and sex.
Stars Zach Galligan, Krista Errickson, and Michael Bowen.

watched the new uk arrow blu ray release and read some where some one say how fuzzy the picture was, even though i've never seen the vhs or dvd of it to compare it by i thought the picture myself was pretty decent overall,it has a great (lossless) 2.0 lcpm audio track as well.

This was a decent made-for-tv thriller directed by tv-movie veteran D1ck Lowry. Starring Brooke Shields, Burgess Meredith, Thomas Byrd and Brian Kerwin (Murphy´s Romance) Brooke looks fantastic and we can see her in at least five different swimsuits here
Sailing, diving, lust, greed, paranoia and violence. Must see flick for Brooke Shields fans.

The Unholy (1988) - I loved this. The cinematography was stunning, the score was great and Ben Cross, Hal Holbrook and everyone were smashing. Quite slow but in a good way.

Brooke Shields took a four year break from acting after Wet Gold, came back in 1988 and did this decent made-for-tv heist comedy. The movie was shot in New York and London. Howard Hesseman was great as detective Rollings, loved his dry humor. The other stars are Ed Marinaro, Twiggy, Darren McGavin, D1ck O'Neill, Tony Steedman and Nicholas Pryor.

I saw "The Unholy" in a theatre way back in the day. While it's not the worst horror movie that I've ever seen, I didn't particularly like it. It has a terrific cast, and the story itself is fairly intriguing, but that said, it's very poorly put together--lots of post-production tinkering--and the rubbery little demons did the film no favors. It was late, lamented Vestron Films second highest grossing film, though it lagged way behind "Dirty Dancing," their biggest hit.
