An Eye for an Eye (1981)

- This was a pretty good action movie.
Starring Chuck Norris, Christopher Lee, Richard Roundtree, Maggie Cooper and Mako.
Includes nice San Francisco locations, good fight scenes and enjoyable score by William Goldstein.

Watchers (1988)

- This is a decent thriller.
Starring Corey Haim, Michael Ironside and Barbara Williams.

Lots of people hate this movie, because itŽs nothing like the Dean R. Koontz book itŽs based on.
HereŽs the reason why taken from IMDb:

"Paul Haggis wrote the original screenplay. By the time the movie was greenlighted,
the Writer's Guild Strike hit and Haggis refused to do any further writing on the movie during the strike.
Production was passed to Canadian producer Damien Lee who rewrote the script.
Haggis read the script and took his name off it - taking credit instead as "Bill Freed", his WGA pseudonym,
and insisted Damien Lee take credit for his work."

I havenŽt read the book so i can watch this movie through different eyes,
and maybe enjoy the movie a little bit more.

Gotham aka The Dead CanŽt Lie (1988)

- Now this was an interesting mystery thriller.
Directed and written by Lloyd Fonvielle (The Bride, Cherry 2000)
Starring Tommy Lee Jones, Virginia Madsen, Colin Bruce, Denise Stephenson and Kevin Jarre.
Lee Jones and Madsen are fantastic!

The last 80's Movie I watched was last night, I watched "Renegades" (1989), with Kiefer Sutherland and Lou Diamond Philips.

It was the story of an undercover cop, (Kiefer Sutherland), who's is after a bunch of criminals and is forced to team up with Lou Diamond Philips character after first being pursued by him when their paths cross during a heist.

I enjoyed the film, the action was good Lou Diamond Philips and Kiefer Sutherland's characters worked well together and there was some good turns to the story.

I would recommend it to people who like an action film with a bit more brain than the usual going in Gung Ho shooting and blowing up everything and going for the high body count.

"Valley Girl"...anyone hear of this one? Hee hee...just kidding. Kind of like a first viewing for me...I think I've seen the entire movie before, but in pieces here and there...re my sons early wake ups from naps, etc. This was the first time I was able to turn the movie on and watch it right through....I really enjoyed it and have a new appreciation for the movie that I didn't have before....
